BROOKS ADRENALINE GTS 23 GTX

Lovely runners, but a word of warning that these seem to come up small compared to other Brooks Adrenaline. Having worn Brooks Adrenaline GTS before, I just ordered online the same size as always, which is already a size up from my normal shoe size. I was confident these would be fine, so I took off labels, binned the box and wore them. I realised too late that the fit is totally different. I thought they were just firmer because they were new, but unfortunately not. While the insole and base are the same as my old runners the upper seems shallower and shorter. My toes are touching the top of the toe box, and will be through them in no time. I have had to open out the laces so much to give me space on the instep that the laces will barely tie. I have never in my life needed a size 6 (I am 4 to 4.5 normally), but would need a 6 in this runner. Disappointing, but hopefully I can save someone else from the same expensive mistake.
